We Built the Tool We Wished Existed
NestMint is retirement planning software for real people — whether you're building wealth or making it last. Transparent math, no advisor commissions, no sales pitches.
Why We Built NestMint
When we started planning for retirement, we kept running into the same wall. Free tools were too basic to be useful — a savings slider and a single projected number. The serious tools were either locked behind expensive advisor relationships or built for CPAs, not regular people. Dense interfaces, confusing terminology, and almost no guidance for someone just trying to figure out if they were on track.
We wanted something that could handle real complexity — Social Security timing, Roth conversions, RMDs, tax brackets, spending phases — without requiring a finance degree to operate. Something that would work whether you're 35 and focused on growing your balance, or 65 and figuring out how to make withdrawals last. So we built it.
Who We Are
Kite Lane Group LLC is a small, independent software company. We're a tight team with backgrounds in finance, technology, and product design — people who have personally navigated the maze of retirement planning and wanted to build something better for everyone who comes after.
We're not dependent on outside investors, which means our only obligation is to you. No backers pushing us toward ads or upsells, no affiliated products to recommend. Just software that does what it says.
What We Believe
Clarity Over Complexity
Retirement planning is inherently complex. Our job is to absorb that complexity so you don't have to — every feature is designed to be understood without a finance degree.
Your Data, Your Business
We don't sell your information or share it with third parties. Your financial details stay between you and the tool. Period.
No Conflicts of Interest
We don't earn commissions, manage money, or recommend products. Our revenue comes entirely from subscriptions — so our incentive is to build something worth paying for, not to steer you anywhere.
Every Stage of the Journey
Most tools serve either savers or retirees. NestMint is built for both — the same platform that helps you grow your nest egg also helps you make it last once you stop working.
Who It's For
We designed NestMint for real people navigating real decisions. If any of these describe you, you're in the right place:
- Pre-retirees (25–60) — Building a plan for the decades ahead. Track savings growth, model employer matches, and test different retirement dates against your savings plan.
- Retirees & near-retirees (60+) — Model withdrawals, Social Security timing, RMDs, and Roth conversions. Stress-test how long your savings can last under different assumptions.
- DIY planners — People who want to run their own numbers rigorously, whether alongside an advisor or on their own.
- Adult children helping parents — Getting a clear picture of a parent's financial outlook so you can plan ahead together.
What We're Exploring
NestMint is actively in development. Among the directions we're considering for future releases:
Advisor Sharing
Export a read-only view of your full plan so your financial advisor can review it without needing to log in.
Mobile App
Check your projection, update inputs, and review your budget from your phone.
Estate & Legacy Tools
Model inheritance, gifting strategies, and how your estate changes over a 30-year retirement.
If you have ideas, suggestions, or just want to say hello, we'd love to hear from you at admin@nestmint.ai.
